Texas!!

Cristina and Austin went to Texas to see the family and so Cristina could get her tonsils out. She sent me some pictures, so I am making a little post. It's Sunday, and it's raining and cold up here in Utah, but it seems to be all sunshiny down in Dallas. On a side note, Go Mavericks!!! Anyhow, Let us know what you think of the pics.

Bowling For Trouble!!!

So, we went bowling this last Tuesday night, Cristina sure loved it, she beat me bowlth times!!! We went for a little shindig because I stopped working at Freedom Wireless, so the gang from the store came and so did Cristina's friend Barbara, who is now an employee of the aforementioned company. We took Austin, bad idea!! You take a kid like that to a bowling alley, and next thing you know he's getting a tattoo and breaking into the ATM!!
I have no idea where he gets it from! The Office!!!

So, we love the Office, on NBC, but can never watch it cuz we don't have cable, so here's a little video of the last episode, I hope it works. We'll make a real post later.

Happy Easter!!!

So we had an eventful Easter this year, But let me back it up a little bit. We are keeping this
journal for posterity, so as such, we need to note our misdeeds and blunders as well. Last Sunday, one week earlier than today, Daddy, Jon, had his first embarrassing, stupid and dangerous moment as a dad. it had been a good day, and we went to the park by our house to push Austin in the swing. Such a little Angel!! Well, Austin and I were having fun pushing him back to the house in the stroller, and I was pushing him and letting him go and roll on his own, and he was smiling and laughing. Well, I pushed too hard, and the stoller banked right into the curb and fell!!!! My little man banged his little face on the little concrete sidewalk and he got a bruise on his cheek, and a strawberry on his cheekbone under his left eye. Cristina didn't like me too much after that, but I guess she got her moment when, about two days later, she left the hot glue gun down where he could get it, and he tried to suck on it!!! He got a little blister on his top lip. Needless to say, he's a trooper, and he's all better now, you can see a some of his injuries in some of the photos in the new album.
Anyways, today we went up to Kaysville to attend Madden Strieff's baby blessing. He is so cute, and we were glad to go up there and see them. We stayed with Brad and Karlee Dutson the night before, we wish we lived closer.We then stopped by Temple Square to take some pictures in our outfits that Cristina picked out for us. That was fun, and made Cristina reminisce about the mission days. Afterwards, we went and spent some time with LaVonne Driggs at her home, which we love, and she made us piña coladas that was a good Easter treat. Ayhow, this day is set apart to remember our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who atoned for our sins and rose the third day so that we might have eternal life. This gives our family comfort, to know that we will see our loved ones again, especially Paul. Tragedy cuts this life so short sometimes but it puts in perspective for us the eternal plan that our Heavenly father has for us and that we will live again and through Jesus Christ, we have the opportunity to be forgiven and washed clean. We love our family and hope that they had a special Easter as well.
