Crafting and Caroling for Christmas

These are the adorable tree cakepops I found on Bakerella.com they were a big hit at my enrichment ..I mean "Relief Society meeting" however, if you are making 100 favors I think I will opt for brownies next time. Thanks for helping me decorate them Sarah, saved me some time.

We went Caroling with mom and dad for Fhe on monday and with some friends in the ward...Ethan loved dancing to the music and seeing the beautiful lights and Austin loved seeing his buddies and singing Christmas carols (he requests rudolph the red nose reindeer almost every night at bedtime...since May) So he knew all the words.

These pics on the botom are just pictures or the Thanksgiving holiday at the Wise home. My Mother in law made an amazing feast, and I just enjoyed doing little side jobs and cleaning....got a break.

The pics in the leaves were just the kids at my parents' house, the pic of Ethan and me was Lauren's doing...she loves spiking Ethan's hair. That kid is up to 30 lbs! over 90th percentile for weight and 75-90th for height....chunk!

What I am MOST Thankful For...

I am so Thankful for many things in my life, but among the things I most value are some things I also take for granted.
My husband...Jon is so kind and willing to help with things at home even after a busy day at
work. I told him I was sick today and without thinking twice came home (instead of golfing with his dad) gave me meds, put me to bed, took care of the kids AND cleaned the bathroom and other stuff.. who does that? I guess He is so good to me that I expect it sometimes rather than appreciate it because I still managed to get upset about something when I woke up. Sorry Babe.

My boys..who knew that such tiny little creatures could bring such a great measure of love, excitement, patience and the spirit into a home. I am thankful that I can bear children. So worth it.

My health, home and family...holidays are a real reminder of how great our lives really are. I just learned last sunday that we are among the 25% of people who own shoes in the world. I was not aware that there are 3 people who dont own shoes for every 1 person that does. So many people out there don't have a job, a family, a house to come home to at night or a warm dinner to enjoy.

Jesus Christ... I love my savior and am SO grateful for his love, compassion and sacrifice. I am so Grateful to know that he would have given his life for JUST me if that were the case. I feel so blessed to know that I have the knowledge of the divine plan of happiness that was created for families to be together forever. (and so that I can see my brother Paul again.)

I am "thankful" for Thanksgiving because it reminds me of the things I SHOULD be grateful for that I often forget.

Camping at the Abbot's Farm

Yes, I AM actually blogging again....
I guess life has just not slowed down at all since baby #2 started walking...In fact I think our last post was at his 11 months.... Now he's running, talking and beating up on his big brother.
So, I will have to do a "pictures only" post pretty soon.
We had a fabulous camping trip to the Abbott's Farm in Bonham. Jon, his brother, all the Rawlins boys and Jason all brought the wives and kids, Pax and Sean came too.(we missed you Abs) The kids had so much fun on the canoe, feeding the cows and horses, swinging, fishing, playing with the 2 dogs, playing chase and eating lots of junk food. I love watching my boys play together.. They love each other so much. So many memories were made this weekend. Austin found a new friend.."Malaly" (Natalie) and now he won't stop talking about her. The boys also had a blast with their cousins and old friends. But I have to say that I especially loved when all dozen kids were asleep and it was just a huge couples retreat. Sitting around the campfire telling hilarious stories. I guess I sometimes forget how much fun I have with Jon, just us.
